1. Scoring will be kept by each team. Once a team wins, a judge will assign the
winner to their next competition
2. Ties will be settled
3. All games will have a forty-five minute time limit
4. Coin toss will indicate who will toss washers first
5. The game field shall consist of two (2) washer pits, each containing one (1)
recessed cup of 4 inches in diameter centered in a box made of 2 x 4’s that
are 14 inches square and will be supplied by N.A.W.T.A.
6. The exact distance between the boxes will be 25 feet measured from the front
of each box
7. Competition washers are 2 – ½ inches in diameter with a 1-inch center hole
and will be supplied by N.A.W.T.A.
8. Two (2) people per team. Players may consist of men, women or mixed
9. Each player throws four (4) washers toward the opposing pit.
10. Points are established by successfully tossing a washer in the opposing box for
one (1) point and in the cup for three (3) points. A washer landing on the top
edge of the box earns two (2) points
11. The first team to earn 21 or more points and has at least a two (2) point
advantage over their opponent is the winner
12. Discrepancies during play will be settled by the Commissioner of the N.A.W.T.A.
