Queen Pageant

General Information:

We are looking for remarkable young ladies between the ages of 17 and 21. (Must not be 22 by January 1, 2014.)

It is not required to have a 4-H, farming or agriculture background. Queen candidates will have a four minute personal interview with the judges, introduce themselves on stage, perform a one minute prepared speech, model in swimsuit and evening gown.

This is a wonderful opportunity for young women to learn:

• Poise & Stage Presence
• Public Speaking Skills
• A 150+ year old honored tradition

The new Miss Macon County Fair Queen will be awarded with:

• A $1000.00 Scholarship from the Macon County Fair
• 30 credit hours from Richland Community College
• A Beautiful Crown
• A Plethora of Wonderful Prizes
• The honor of representing the Macon County Fair as Official Hostess
• The option to compete at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fair State Pageant for the title of Miss Illinois County Fair Queen
